Aurora, CO – This summer Complete Basement Systems sponsored 4 golf events to better their community. Two of them were the National Society of Professional Engineers Golf Tournament and the SECOR Golf Tournament.
The first event Complete Basement Systems sponsored this summer was the National Society of Professional Engineers Golf Tournament. The proceeds from this event went to benefit the Professional Engineers of Colorado Education Foundation. The PECEF supports engineering and scientific educational activities such as bridge building for high school students, Math Counts for junior high students and education scholarships for students wanting to further their engineering abilities.
They then went on to not only sponsor but also participate in the SECOR Golf tournament on July 28th. This event benefited the South East Community Outreach which offers a safety net for low income families and those who suddenly find themselves unemployed or under employed. The SECOR food bank, which reaches over 300 households, averaged about 400 visits a month this year, which is a 55% increase over last year.
