Homeowner, Paige, experienced basement flooding time after time that continued to frustrate her. It wasn't until her flooring was completely ruined that she realized she needed to do something about it once and for all. When she contacted Rod Martin's Complete Basement Systems, we knew we could solve the problem for her and restore her peace of mind - and home value!
When Rod Martin's Complete Basement Systems was frantically contacted by Golden, CO homeowner Paige about basement flooding, we knew we had to do something to help. Paige had done her research about our company and services we provide and she knew exactly what she wanted. We sent experienced Sales Representative, Kevin, to hammer out the details, and then got to work!
After arriving to the jobsite, extraordinary foreman, Felipe, and his crew knew this wasn't going to be an easy task. This basement had suffered through multiple water issues and now it was time to solve the problem for good. The waterproofing crew got to work right away, starting with the French Drain installation. The cement floors were carefully broken up then filled with drainage stone to allow for an appropriate water flow path.
The next step was to ensure the drain system worked correctly and efficiently by installing a sump pit extension to her existing sump pump. When this task was completed, it was time for the floors!
For any large job that requires the removal of existing flooring, we always recommend our Flooring system. This system not only looks professional, but it's easy to install, affordable, and because it's a tiling system, its quick and convenient to replace individual pieces in the event of damage. If the basement does get wet temporarily, it is not likely the floor will need replacement - just dry it out quickly! Felipe and the team installed Flooring tiles throughout the basement, creating a new, spectacular looking space!
The job was completed and the homeowner was beyond thrilled to know she no longer had basement water issues to worry about!
