Crawl Space Encapsulation in Denver, CO

Challenge

To turn a scary looking dirt crawl space into a waterproof, useable storage place for the homeowner.

Solution

First, we had to remove the piles of debris that had been collecting in the crawl space for several years. Once the crawl space was completely free of debris we were able to completely seal a crack in the cement wall with an epoxy injection. Then, we installed ExTremeBloc wall insulation along the crawl space walls and rim joists. Next, we installed CrawlSeal 20-mil waterproof liner across the dirt floor. Tiny graphite particles in the ExTremeBloc insulation panels reflect heat and lower the material's conductivity for superior R-value per inch. CrawlSeal is a 20-mil poly-reinforced crawl space liner that prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through, keeping your crawl space warm and dry. This homeowner now has a completely secure and usable crawl space for years to come!
