Is Your Basement Cold? Learn How to Insulate Basement Walls

Schedule Your Free Inspection

Your home’s basement is built underground and along with this subterranean space comes a handful of problems including dampness and cold walls.

Complete Basement Systems utilizes a “long-lasting, high-performance basement insulation.” wall paneling is a polystyreme foam insulation, ExTremeBloc™, which has an R-13 insulation rating. ExTremeBloc™ insulation can also be used along crawl space walls and rim joists. ExTremeBloc™ is a graphite infused inorganic foam which means mold cannot grow on it, unlike fiberglass insulation, witch soaks up water and will grow mold with high humidity levels.

Another great feature is that the panels are built in with studs. These studs are designed to not allow the transfer of heat to the cold walls behind the insulation. Once it is installed you can then finish out the rest of your basement and enjoy a warm space.
