This crawlspace was big and could be used for storage. The customer wanted to make sure that it would be a good place to store things and know for sure they would stay dry. This crawlspace is now sealed with CrawlSeal and is also has a Sump Pump to remove any water that might get in. The CrawlSeal gets wrapped around everything that they can’t get it underneath This is the Sump Pump spout, this is where any water will be dumped from the system. This is a more zoomed out photo of were the Sump Pump spout is. Its like its not even there.
Challenge
This customer has a big crawlspace the has never been able to be used for anything. They decided that it was finally time to do what is needed to make the space usable for some storage. They were also concerned about possible moister coming in from the floor and losing heat through the walls in the winter.
Solution
The foreman and the team were ready for the job. Upon arrival to the house they looked at what they needed to start with. Then next they started to remove any debris from the crawlspace to clean it up. Then they installed the CrawlSeal vapor barrier to prevent water from coming in. Then they also installed a Sump Pump to remove any water buildup. Finally, the team installed a discharge line for the Sump Pump to dump the water away from the basement.
