John and Gale G. noticed that their foundation walls began cracking after they changed the way water was being directed around their Fort Collins home. Maybe it was just a coincidence, or maybe not, but either way they knew they needed to fix the problem before it got any worse. They looked up local contractors in the area, and came across the website for Complete Basement Systems of CO. After reading reviews from other customers who had their foundations repaired by the company, John and Gale were convinced that this was the contractor to call about their problem.
They made an appointment for an inspection and free estimate and foundation specialist Rick Donohoe met with them to discuss the repairs that he felt would give them the longest-lasting results. Foreman Eulalio Galindo and his crew got to work immediately. They installed push piers to stop foundation settlement and lift the foundation. Wall anchors were installed as part of the process of fixing the foundation wall cracks. SmartJack crawl space support posts were also used to add additional support to the floor joists and foundation.
John and Gale were surprised with how fast their foundation was fixed! Not only were the wall cracks repaired, but the foundation was stabilized and looked good as new! If there is ever a need for foundation repair in the future, the Fort Collins homeowners know exactly who to call.
A leaky basement can be a huge headache. Just ask Fort Collins homeowners Jasmine and Mario T. who discovered that water was getting into their basement through the foundation walls. The carpet in their finished basement was getting wet, which was creating a musty odor and causing mold growth. Worried about whether this might affect the air quality in their living space or cause structural issues, the couple immediately scheduled a free foundation repair estimate from Complete Basement Systems of CO. They had heard good things and visiting the company website reassured them that this was a contractor that they could trust to get the job done right.
Structural specialist Rick Donohoe inspected the situation and suggested a number of repairs that would permanently fix the problem. When foreman Humberto Guzman and his crew arrived, the couple knew exactly what to expect, because everything was thoroughly explained to them. The crew installed a WellDuct window well drain, which installed below the basement windows to catch any water that might leak through. This was combined with a WaterGuard basement drainage system and SuperSump sump pump to direct water out of the basement. Wall anchors were installed to help straighten the walls, which were damaged from the water intrusion. An IceGuard drainage line and LawnScape outlet were installed to guarantee drainage year-round. Finally, the BrightWall basement wall paneling system was installed to help drain water, stop water vapor, and brighten the space.
Jasmine and Mario were more than happy with the results. They no longer have to worry about having water leaks in their basement, and the BrightWall panels help give the basement a brighter, more finished look - it’s more than they ever expected!
For the past 7 years, Travis and Jennifer W. have been dealing with a flooded crawl space in their Fort Collins home whenever it downpours. Finally fed up, the homeowners decided to look for a company who could give them an estimate to install a sump pump and hopefully dry their wet crawl space for good. The couple had heard a lot about the Basement Systems network and decided to give them a call. They were then put in touch with their local Basement Systems dealer, Complete Basement Systems of CO, who set them up with an inspection and estimate.
Crawl space waterproofing specialist Eric Jarosz suggested repairs to permanently solve the home’s wet crawl space issues. The crew installed the CleanSpace liner and vapor barrier system to prevent moisture from seeping through the soil and into the crawl space. A SmartSump sump pump was installed to drain water and keep the crawl space dry. An IceGuard discharge line and LawnScape outlet were also installed to make sure any water is able to leave the basement, even if the discharge line becomes frozen or clogged.
Travis and Jennifer were pleased with the experience and professionalism of foreman Eulalio Galindo and the entire crew. Now the next time there is a big rainstorm, the homeowners will no longer need to worry about a flooded crawl space!
Complete Basement Systems received an email from a concerned homeowner in Wellington, CO the email read, "I would like to get an estimate - I have a 10 x 12 foot concrete deck/slab that is cracked completely down the middle which has caused the concrete slab/deck to pull away from the house (back deck). It has sunk at least 3-8 inches in the middle of concrete slab/deck."
CBS was able to send out a PolyLEVEL specialist to take a look at the home and provide an estimate for raising the concrete slab. The homeowner decided to go with the PolyLEVEL foam, which carries a 5 year warranty. The back concrete deck is again a usable space free of tripping hazards.
Stevan emailed Complete Basement Systems with this concern, "We are under contract on a log cabin in Glen Haven, CO. The crawl space seems to have some issues that the home inspector took note of. We would like to have a crawl space specialist give us a complete assessment and quote before we close on the property."
After a representative did a thorough inspection and sat down with Stevan, a repair plan was decided on. In July, a CleanSpace liner, SilverGlo insulation, and SuperSump were installed to address water intrusion. A SmartJack monopost was also installed for additional support to the subfloor.
This customer has a modular home resting on stilts that needs to be insulated. Complete Basement Systems will remove the old insulation in the floor joists and then install SilverGlo in the walls and the rim joists. SilverGlo panels have tiny graphite particles that permeate the foam insulation to give it that silver/gray shine. These tiny particles reflect heat and lower the material’s conductivity for superior R value per inch. In addition to resisting heat conduction, SilverGlo boasts a radiant heat barrier, which reflects heat back into your crawl space for ultimate energy savings. SilverGlo is also perfect for the crawl space due to the inorganic material resistant to water and mold growth. With the installation of SilverGlo, this Livermore, CO home could be warm and more energy effecient.
The homeowner of this Bellvue, CO home contacted Complete Basement Systems because of some concerns with the crawl space. There was some standing water and musty smells in the crawl space. The homeowner's main goals were to protect the floors above from mold and wood rot, maintain the value of the home and prepare for resale. In order to do this, Complete Basement Systems was able to install CleanSpace vapor barrier over top of drainage matting to help drain the water out of the crawl space. SilverGlo wall and rim joist insulation was also used to keep the area under the floors insulated and comfortable for the living space above.
This customer has a home built by his grandfather and father in the mountains near Red Feather Lakes. There is a large fireplace in the middle of the home that was not installed properly. The foundation of the chimney is chunks of CMU with concrete poured over it. The chimney is settling and pulling down the floor. Steel angle needs to be installed around the fireplace to support the addition of helical piers to stabilize and prevent further settlement.
Anne C. and her husband Kevin were concerned about water intrusion into their basement. Their concrete floors were constantly damp, and after any rain or snow, their basement walls were wet. Knowing that this problem would not automatically get better by itself, Anne made a call to Rod Martin's Complete Basement Systems and set up a free estimate.
After sending out one of our certified Systems Design Specialists, we recommended that Anne and Kevin instal our TripleSafe sump pump system, as well as our WaterGuard Drainage System to take care of the water getting into their basement. The TripleSafe is the top of the line when it comes to sump pump systems. A primary pump will pump out 2,200 gallons of water an hour. The primary pump is coupled with a secondary pump, which will pump out an additional 3,900 gallons of water an hour. Talk about moving water! Finally, to protect the home from flooding during a power outage or sump failure, Anne and Kevin had an UltraSump backup battery system installed. Now, they can rest easy, knowing that their basement is clean and dry, and will be kept dry at all hours of the day and night!

Peter and Mickey of Fort Collins, CO slowly started noticing signs of a failing foundation in their home and became concerned with its structural integrity. Their doors had been sticking for quite some time but when they started to see cracks in their walls and the foundation itself, they knew they had a serious problem. The house was built in 1910 with a brick foundation, causing a slow deterioration over time. When the homeowners knew something had to be done before the problem became worse, they reached out to Rod Martin's Complete Basement Systems.
Our knowledgeable and experienced design specialist, Jonathan, was happy to provide a free estimate and a viable solution for this foundation problem. The job began with excavation and continued with the installation of 10 push piers around the home's perimeter.
